Higher quality, lighter impact

Higher quality, lighter impact
Our clothes are thoughtfully crafted to have a lighter environmental footprint across their life cycle, from production to wearing, washing, and beyond.
  • We label our garments as “Cold Wash Only”. Around 90% of a washing machine’s energy use goes into warming the water, washing in warm water emits approximately 2.5 kg of CO2 emissions each wash. By switching to cold water, this process will now emit approximately 0.2 kg of CO2 emissions per wash, allowing our customers to reduce their impact on the environment.
  • Hand-me-down quality results in fewer clothes ending up in landfills
  • Our Fabric Suppliers and Garment Washers are required to report their environmental impacts using the Higg Facility Environmental Index (FEM) and to have these reports verified by a 3rd party every other year. The Higg FEM allows for the assessment of the environmental impact of product manufacturing at the facility level in order to identify strengths and uncover areas for improvement. Completing an FEM allows our suppliers to establish a base line impact assessment and work to improve year upon year.
